Obituary of Helen May Shortridge

MAY SHORTRIDGE Peacefully on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 85. May (nee Leighton), beloved wife of the late Hector Shortridge of Blackstock. Loved mother of the late Elizabeth (1946), and Bill and his wife Sheila. Loving grandmother of Stephanie and her friend Allen, and Casie and her fianc� Christopher. Predeceased by her sister Jennie Bailey. The family of May Shortridge will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel�, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171) on Thursday, October 28th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Blackstock United Church on Friday October 29th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Karen Bursey officiating. Interment Cartwright Union Cemetery, Blackstock. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Blackstock United Church Memorial Fund.
