Obituary of May Ivadelle Martindale

MAY IVADELLE MARTINDALE (Member of Women’s Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion, Bowmanville Branch) Peacefully, on Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry, at age 81. May (nee Parker), dearly loved wife of the late Bill Martindale of Scugog Island. Loved mother of Cameron Martindale of Brantford, Janet Godin and Bob Rollings of Komoka, Barbara and David Ogden of Bowmanville, Laurie and Gary Ovenden of Orono, Kim Martindale of Bowmanville, and Kelly Martindale and Bob Hanc of Oshawa. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Madeline and Isabelle and her brother Harvey. The family of May Martindale will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171) on Friday, February 11th from 12 - 2 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Community Memorial Hospital Foundation in Port Perry or the Canadian Cancer Society.
