M. RUTH THOMPSON
Peacefully, on Sunday, March 6, 2005, at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry, one week before her 100th birthday. Ruth (nee Johnston), dearly loved wife for 62 years to the late J. Grant Thompson (1990). Dear mother of Marion and her husband Dr. Jack Marlow of Dundas, Eleanor (deceased) and her husband Neil Werry (deceased) of Blackstock, and Elaine and her husband Neil Bailey of Blackstock. She will be fondly remembered by her eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, as well as her many valued friends and relatives. Predeceased by her sisters Mary Naylor and Grace Davis and her brothers George, Bob, Jim, and Jack Johnston. The family of Ruth Thompson will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985 2171) on Wednesday, March 9th from 1 �" 2 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. with Reverend Karen Bursey officiating. Interment Cedarvale Cemetery, Cannington in the Spring. At Mother’s request, flowers are gratefully declined.
