Obituary of Leona Mae Tripp

LEONA MAE TRIPP ~ Peacefully, on Thursday, June, 14, 2012, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 85. Leona (nee Lambe), beloved wife of William "Bill" Tripp of Port Perry. Loving mother of Linda and her husband George Bright of Port Perry, Bill and his wife Susan of Port Perry, Susan and her husband Rod McGill of Apsley, and Helen and her husband Jim Martyn of Blackstock. Loved grandmother of Amanda, Kymberly, and Robynn Bright, William Tripp III, Katharine Tripp, Melissa and Derek McGill and Kristy and Bradley Martyn, and great grandmother of 12. Leona is survived by her sister Donna Lambe, and she is predeceased by her brother Melville Lambe and her sisters Betty Howe and Doris Tripp. The family of Leona Tripp will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, June, 15th from 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, June 16th 11 a.m. with Reverend Elaine Hall officiating.
