EMILY AMELIA BADOUR It is with sadness that the family of Emily Badour (nee Myles) announces her peaceful passing at home with her family at her side on Monday, September 12, 2005, at age 85. Beloved wife of Clinton (Ken) Badour of Port Perry. Loving mother of Marlene and her husband Carl Grass of Columbus, Elizabeth and her husband Walter Stevens of Guelph, and special mother of Beverly (Jodie) deceased 1971. Adored grandmother of Bradley and his wife Lesley of Mississauga, Michael of Little Britain, Jennifer and her husband Daniel of St. Catherines, Aaron of Halifax, Gregory and his wife Keltie of Calgary, and Sarah and her husband Bradley of Whitby. Caring oldest sister of Iza and her husband Albert (deceased), Bill (deceased) and his wife Maria, Dorothy (deceased), Ruby and her husband Doug, Doug and his wife Marg (deceased), Jack (deceased), and Allan. Predeceased by her parents William and Florence Myles of Oshawa. Will be sadly missed by her cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends and neighbours. Emily was a founding member of the Port Perry Brownie and Girl Guide Troops, and Central Seven Association, a dedicated volunteer in the Community Memorial Hospital in Port Perry and up to recent years an active member of the UCW Mary Unit of the Port Perry United Church, employed by Reach Township Municipal office and Zoecon Industries, as well as a life long partner with her husband Ken in their Egg Production and Farming Business. Her love of family, home, gardening, entertaining and dancing has been appreciated by all who have been privileged to know her. Friends may call at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985 2171) on Thursday, September 15th from 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. A Service to celebrate the life of Emily Badour will be held in the Chapel at 12:30 p.m. with a reception to follow. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to Community Living Durham North (Central Seven).
