Obituary of Margaret Stirling

MARGARET STIRLING (nee McCONAGHY) After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Stirling, on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at age 70, at her daughter’s home, surrounded by family. Her strength, determination and courage was unprecedented. In spite of her pain, her positive outlook and concern for those she loved was an example for all. Beloved mother of Lori Prior (Michael) of Westlake Village, California, Barb Simpson (Bruce Montaigue deceased) of Port Perry, and Shelli McLeod (Don) of Port Perry. Loving grandmother of Shea, Shannon, Robert, Abbie, Megan and Taylor. Predeceased by her sisters Phyllis Brooks and Myrna Cowl. The family of Margaret Stirling will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Thursday, September 29th from 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Port Perry United Church on Friday, September 30th at 1 p.m. Family interment Terrace Lawn Cemetery, North Bay Saturday, October 1st at 11 a.m..
