Obituary of Gertrude Wanamaker

GERTRUDE WANAMAKER Peacefully, on Sunday, December 18, 2005 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Bowmanville, at age 95. Gertrude (nee Martyn), dearly loved wife of the late Bert Wanamaker of Seagrave. Loved mother of Ron Wanamaker and his wife Leona of Oshawa, Neil Wanamaker and his wife Donna of Seagrave and Bill Wanamaker (deceased) and his wife Rita of Seagrave. Gertrude will also be sadly missed by her 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Earl and Allen Martyn and survived by her sister-in-law Marjorie Wanamaker. The family of Gertrude Wanamaker will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Wednesday, December 21st from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, December 22nd at 11 a.m. with Reverend Ross Carson officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Auxiliary to Lakeridge Health Port Perry, Seagrave U.C.W. or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
