Obituary of Bruce Gordon Cochrane
Bruce passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Port Perry Place, at age 78. Bruce Cochrane, beloved husband of Georgeen (nee Burnett) of Port Perry. Loving father of Aaron Cochrane of Port Perry, Jason Cochrane and his wife Rhonda of Oakwood, and Gavin Cochrane and his wife Lisa of Blackstock. Loved grandpa of Jayda, Charles, Cody, Tanner, Mya, and Joshua. Dear brother of George Cochrane and his wife Marilyn, Joan and her husband the late Bob Lindsay, Glenda and her husband Bill Wakely, and Dennis Cochrane and his wife Patty. Brother-in-law of Jim and Mary-Lou Burnett. Predeceased by his parents Edwin and Eva Cochrane, and his mother-in-law Margaret Burnett Brignell. Will be missed by his nieces and nephews.
The family of Bruce Cochrane will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 1 – 3 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 3 p.m. with Reverend Don Wilmer officiating. Interment Prince Albert Pine Grove Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Port Perry United Church, the Port Perry Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.
