When I joined CIBC in Port Perry in January 1967 I met Glenna. We worked together for 4 1/2 years before I transferred to Toronto but we have stayed in touch ever since by having coffee when I was back in town and by sending cards. We walked to work when she lived in an apartment up the street from my parent's home and she taught me head cash so I could take her place when she went on maternity leave. She was the most wonderful person to work with and always had that big smile which I will remember forever. The world has lost a very special person and I have lost a very special friend. My deepest condolences to her family.

I worked with Glenna in the early days at the CIBC. When a teller didn’t balance we had to stay and find the difference before we went home, Glenna was always patient with us her being the employee with the seniority, and she would order us food from Emiel’s next door, and pick it up and make sure we all got what we ordered. It cost the bank more for dinner for us all then it would of to write off the difference. Glenna was the mother hen, never got angry and always had a kind word and smile for you. Glenna will be missed dearly, and one of the few women I know that was born a lady.

I worked with Glenna for over 15 years. She loved her job, and was the hardest working woman I knew.
We became good friends. I miss our long chats on the phone.
Her devotion and love for her kids and grandchildren was evident every day. Her love for Grant was just as apparent through her stories
of the considerate things he would do for her.
Glenna’s heart ,her kindness , and that laugh and beautiful smile , will be missed .

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Glenna for over 20 years. She was the most devoted and proudest mom to her kids and grandkids. She loved to watch them play hockey and encouraged them in everything they did. She will be missed by myself and also by all people who had the good fortune to know her. My heart goes out to her family. Remember the good memories and know she is always with you in your heart.
