Very sad news. Richard and my brother Peter were good friends back in the day at ACI. They worked together at my dad's wood shop as summer students. Richard never forgot about are family. He attended my brother's funeral and gave me a call when my dad passed away. We were Blessed to have known Richard. Condolences from are family.

Richard, was a guy who did not differentiate between, staff, management or whatever role you held, remember being at many meetings with him in Michigan at the Mr Clemens plant, Richard you sure educated the Americans on the significance and importance af Ajax site and it employees always had Ajax in your heart. Logan and I both were lucky enough to have worked closely with Richard for years. He was the best kind of colleague - hard-working and fun - and a great friend. He played a starring role in some of our favourite DuPont memories. I remember touring a winery with him during a sales meeting, and for the entire tour he couldn’t stop giggling at the “notes of grass” they told us we’d taste. Another sales meeting, a bird took his sandwich from our golf cart right in front of us, we were in tears laughing at how offended he was. There were so many good moments like that. He loved going for a “wobbly pop” after work on Fridays, where we would share stories from the week and catch up on all the gossip. And most importantly, he spoke often of “his girls”; he loved all of you so much. We are so very sorry to learn of his passing and send our deepest condolences.

I worked with Richard at DuPont mostly when he was account manager at Honda Alliston as I was part of a production team dedicated to the account. He was such a nice man I was shocked to hear of his passing.

Words cannot express my sadness, condolences to his family.
I was fortunate enough to have Richard as my supervisor for a short time in Purchasing.
He was a fair man, and had genuine concern for his fellow employees.
