Obituary of John Wolters
His Life Is Remembered as a Beautiful Symphony
He passed peacefully, on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry, at age 92. John Wolters of Blackstock, beloved husband of the late Tina (nee Rienstra). Loved father of Wilma (Thomas Wotten), Joanna (David Malcolm), Debbie (Ronald David), Henry Wolters (Alma Stacey) and Tena (Lee Smithson). Loving grandpa to 18 grandchildren and Opa to 26 great grandchildren. John will be remembered by his large extended family.
The family of John Wolters will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, August 17th from 2 - 4 and 6 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Emmanuel Reformed Church, 401 Rossland Road West in Whitby on Friday, August 18th at 11 a.m. Interment Cartwright Union Cemetery, Blackstock. A reception will follow.
