We had the absolute pleasure of meeting and knowing Kelly through a mutual love of volleyball, with our daughter and Brooklyn playing on the same team for 3 years together. That adds up to a lot of tourmanemts, practices and dinners together over the years. Kelly is someone that we all remember as being a bright light in the room, always smiling and cheering for her daughter and her team like it was the last game. To Rob and Brooklyn, please remember only the good times and the best memories. Kelly will live in your hearts forever, and will be with you always.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kell and the gang about 14 years ago as Tom’s then girlfriend and now, his wife. I found relief in preparing this written memory, as it seems cathartic in expressing myself but, comes with many teary-eyed breaks. We have collected and captured so many valuable moments over the years, for this, we are profoundly grateful.
Kelly felt much like a sister in law and ironically this was true as my husband, Tom’s sister is married to Rob’s brother, Ted.
Kell was so easy to love, she had an infectious spirit and genuine kind nature. I immediately thought of her as an angel who was sent to earth to touch so many lives.
I love nicknames, I named her my honey bunch angel (HBA), she addressed me as honey grove (HG)? I once asked her if the word ‘grove’ was a text typo? Regardless, my name stuck and I so I remained honey grove. I cherish each text that she sent and will keep them for bedside reading whenever I need a reminder of her kind and gentle words. These days it seems often.
Kelly thought of so many other people’s needs and paid attention to detail, not only of what was going on in your life but how she could help if need be. It was these and many more qualities that contributed to Kelly being an amazing friend, tremendous Mom to beautiful Brooklyn, an awesome partner to Robbie and loving, furry child (Mom to) Jersey.
When Kelly’s Mom passed, I gifted her a lit tree to place in her yard, reminding her of her Mom. A few years later, my Mom passed away and Kell commissioned Robyn to make me a watering can in her honor. Arriving soon will be a solar angel with a memorial plaque for our dear friend to adorn the front of their home.
May you soar in your next realm Kell and watch over us all as the angel you are……
Much Love, Tommy, Crissy and family xoxoxoxo

Brooklyn, Rob, George, Nancy, Mark and family, I am so saddened to learn of Kelly's passing. I know she was such a ray of sunshine in your lives, as she was in mine. I have so many wonderful memories of Kelly, playing badminton together in the yard, playing in the forest, playing Atari videos, and listening to Police records in the basement. Kelly and I were best buds when we were pre-teens, and she brought so much happiness to my life. Ruth and John always graciously welcomed me in to their home, which was my second home. I never before saw anyone drink as much tea as Kelly and Ruth! I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart-felt condolences go out to you all, and all of Kelly's friends who she touched so deeply with her sunshine.
Love,
Christina Woermke

Kelly loved pictures. Her home is filled with photos of family and friends and she has more photo albums and boxes of pictures than anyone I know. Most times we were together we took a selfie to send to her brother Mark. It became our thing. I am posting the last one we sent prior to COVID and prior to her diagnosis. Its blurry but its the one we sent. Kelly loved to reminisce and look at pictures and I am sure she would love for people to share a special photo memory on this page.
My heart breaks along with all her family. She was such a special friend.

Kelly was my babysitter for a little while back in the 80s - she lived just around the corner from us on Old Stouffville Rd. in Uxbridge, and she was one of our favourites! Always recalled her megawatt smile and bubbly personality, she was a heap of fun! I can only imagine the grief that those close to her are feeling right now. I am truly sorry for your loss.
