I will never forget that day when Kel and I landed the Big Musky in my canoe. She was just 8 and I was 16. When it popped up beside her, she was too afraid to net it. I convinced her to net it head first and I held the net against the side of the canoe. We never did get it in the boat. We waited for my Mom & John to come out to meet us with the aluminum boat. I then got in the boat with John & the fish & my Mom got in the canoe with Kelly. I always thought of it as our fish because I couldn’t have done it without her. Very fond memories!
